How I navigate "perfectionism"?
I would like to share something private and personal today.
There is always a pattern in my life that is
"All aspects in my life are "perfect" while only ONE is not."
When I was young, I was always getting good academics, a very kind and talented kid but my intimate relationship was always shit.
I made so much effort to improve myself to be a "better" partner.
I learnt to cook, knit, make soup, be a caring partner but it never improved the relationship I had.
When I grow, I encountered different spiritual tools.
In human design, I am a person with 8 defined centres but only 1 undefined.
I felt disappointed because I have all "perfect" but again, there is always 1 "flaw" from being "perfect".
Being a Kundalini Yoga teacher and an Aura Soma practitioner for years,
I started to embrace this “flaw”.
I gradually appreciate and love this part of me.
I eventually accept this is who I am.
Without shitty relationships,
I won't be able to know how to set a healthy boundary with people.
Without something I don't know,
I won't be able to learn I am already good enough without striving to be "better".
The tension is coming from I wanting to prove to the world that I am "perfect".
But we are actually good enough as who we are.
Now, I love this "flaw" in me.
Because from not knowing, it teaches what is precious for me.
These wisdom are all coming from what I "don't have" so I can deeply see the struggle and pain on people who are like me.
This is a journey from not having to having, from not knowing to knowing, from flaws to perfection, from putting my power away to claiming back to my own.
This is how I can guide my students to claim back their power.
If there is nobody telling you these, I am telling you now.
Your way works.
Your ideas are deserved to be seen.
Your needs are honoured.
You are very PRECIOUS.

我如何穿越「完美主義」
今天想說說關於我一點較私密的部分
從少到大我都發現我的「命運」有一個模式
我的生命範疇總是十分「完美」但只有一個特定範疇我是一沉百踩的
小時候就是品學優異乖巧但我的親密關係十分潦倒
我努力地在這範疇變得更優秀
優化一切技能成為一個優秀的伴侶
學做飯、縫紉、煮湯、照顧伴侶
最後關係也沒因此而改善
長大後多接觸了很多工具
在我的人類圖中
我是一位9個能量中心有8個定義唯獨1個中心無定義的設計
我當時也有著同樣的無奈
為何也是一切都是「完美」但有一個「缺陷」
隨著自己當了 Kundalini Yoga 老師和 Aura Soma 諮詢師多年
我才一步步擁抱我這些所謂「缺陷」的美
我慢慢欣賞這些部分
我開始接受自己本來就是這樣
如果我沒有那些潦倒的親密關係
我無法懂得為自己建立健康界線
如果沒有那些一沉百踩的時刻
我不懂得原來我本來已經夠好而無須奮力變得更好
這一切的張力都是來自我唯一「空白」的人生
想對外證明我是「完美」的
想向全世界證明我是「好」的
現在我十分喜歡自己空白的部分
因為她使我看到很多我沒有的東西因此我才找到屬於我最珍貴的東西
就是因為我沒有所以我才擁有從外在權威回到自己權威的過程
這一切都是因為我本來就沒有才可獲得的智慧
所以我才可看懂同路人的掙扎和痛點
這也是我能帶領我的學生從別人身上回到自己的力量
如果沒有人跟你認真說過,那就由我跟你說:
你的方法是可行的
你的想法是值得被看見的
你的需要是重要的
你真的是十分珍貴的
